Welcome to the Carragher One-Name Study including variants Carraher and Caraher. More variants to follow.
The main purpose for this website is to provide a platform for researching Carragher geneaology, family histories, and ultimately, our surname origin. Without displaying private info on living persons, this site will be gathering all documented Carragher's and building family trees, documenting migrations, and exploring relationships. For more information on what it means to have a One-Name Study, please visit the Guild of One-Name Studies at
http://www.one-name.org.
Please join us by creating a User Log-In and creating or submitting a family tree. Participate by sharing photos, family history, etc. Follow the link below to join one of the DNA studies for comparison. Look forward to hearing from you!
This also is a repository for my own family tree, not just Carragher's. We have Carragher, Murphy, McQuillan, McDonnell, Connolly, and Farnin, on my father's side. And on my mother's side, Boyle, Jackson, O'Connor (Nogher), Meehan, Warnock, Brannigan, and Sweeney. All from Castleblayney, County Monaghan, Ireland, at some point.
